“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.” – Marcus Aurelius
Hi, Brian here!
I was three years away from retirement when I left my job at FedEx to pursue a career in HVAC. Unbelievable, right? A shift change made me realize how much time I was missing with my family. At the time, I’d been with FedEx for 16 years, while working as a Firefighter/ EMT for 15 years.
Before joining my friends at Good Guys I spent a few years working for two large brand companies. Now I’ve been in the HVAC industry for over a decade, with EPA and NATE certifications, specializing in gas furnaces.
It’s rewarding to provide homeowners the comfort they deserve in their home. My electrical, plumbing, and framing knowledge also benefits my clients. (I studied building trades throughout highschool and worked for my family’s roofing and construction company.)
I like how the majority of us at Good Guys have been working together for over a decade now, and that we have a vested interest in taking care of our clients. My values (honesty, integrity, and punctuality) are also in alignment with the people I work with.
When I’m not fixing inefficient and outdated equipment, I plax Xbox. I’m one of the oldest gamers I know! I also own a paintball field in Greenwood. I still compete competitively as well as work in the industry during the slow seasons at Good Guys, and get to travel and work alongside my daughter at events around the country.
But just as much as I enjoy cruising the Caribbean, I’m also happy with the quiet country life of Morgan County. I wouldn’t trade the life I have with my amazing wife for the world. She and I were high school sweethearts, and have been together for nearly 30 years. When I finally retire I’d love to see more of the world with her.
